Full Description
Second World War structures, including a former air raid shelter and spigot mortar emplacement, were located at South Holland Bridge. The shelter was one of at least four built in the Sutton Bridge area by a local builder. It was accessed by two flights of steps on opposite sides of the shelter, which led to an inner chamber, the walls of which were plastered. {1}
