Full Description
The remains of two former pits were identified in this location in May 2012, during archaeological monitoring on land at Hacconby Hall. No finds were recovered from either feature, which remain undated, although both were sealed by a buried subsoil layer, from which sherds of late medieval pottery were recovered. It was thought likely that the pits therefore pre-dated the construction of the adjacent Hacconby Hall. {1}{2}
