Full Description
The remains of a ditch and pit of unknown date were recorded in this area in July 2015, during trial trenching for the Louth Flood Alleviation Scheme. Although no dateable material was recovered from either feature, a small assemblage of animal bone was identified. This assemblage comprised single fragments from dog and cattle mandibles from the pit feature, and a fragment from the scapula of a large mammal from the ditch feature. {1}{2}
