Full Description

Two redeposited sherds of medieval pottery were found in this location in July 2015, during archaeological monitoring on land to the north of Boiling Wells Farm. One of the sherds was a fragment from a Light Bodied Nottingham Green Glazed ware jug, dating from the 13th to mid 14th century, whilst the other was a piece from a Sleaford Area Lincoln Type Medieval Glazed ware jug, dating from the 13th to 15th century. {1}{2}
