Full Description
Earthwork remains of a medieval ridge and furrow field system to the east of Friesthorpe, identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. The remains are visible as a number of adjacent blocks of parallel linear earthworks, mostly aligned on a north to south axis, but with some parcels of roughly east to west aligned earthworks as well. {1}
