Full Description

Whilst not included in the detailed programme of historic building recording of the former farm buildings to the east (see PRN 67018), the farmhouse at Bulwark Farm was briefly described in September 2015. The structure appears to be of early 19th century date, although there are claims of a 17th century date for parts of the building, which may suggest that elements of an earlier sturcture on the site have been incorporated into its construction. The building is of red hand-made brick, and features a pitched roof of red clay pantiles. {1}{2}
