Full Description

The Shrubbery, Deeping St. Nicholas. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of F plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. {1} The First Edition 25 Inch OS map shows a formal shrubbery garden laid out in a geometric plan to the southwest of the farmhouse. The garden is not shown on the 2nd Edition map. It appears from satellite imagery that there is limited survival, if any. {2}{3}{4}
