Full Description

Site of Pennygate House, part of a 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the third side of the yard. The farmhouse was detached from the main working complex. Isolated location. {1} The previous interpretation was wrong, th farmhouse building actually still remains and is now known as 33 Woolram Wygate. All other associated buildings have been demolished. The house is constructed of red brick, with two storeys and a gabled roof. {2}
