Stennet's Farm was included in a survey of South Lincolnshire farms, as part of a wider study of English Farmsteads. It is thought to have developed from the 19th century, in an evolutionary fashion. The farmstead was laid out with the farmhouse to the south-west, the main range of working farm buildings to the north, and with cartsheds to the east, built on to the back of a shelter shed range. {1}{2} Stennet's Farm, Little Hale. Redeveloped 19th century historic farmstead. Loose courtyard with three sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse was detached from the main working complex. Isolated location. {3} All of the farm buildings have been demolished and cleared from the site. Exactly when they each became redundant is uncertain, though only the northern barn and easter range were still standing in 1999, with the remaining structures having been cleared by 2019, as seen on the Google Earth satellite imagery layers. {4}
