The unnamed farm at Great Hale Fen was included in a survey of South Lincolnshire farms, as part of a wider study of English Farmsteads. It is thought to have developed from the mid 19th century. {1}{2} Unnamed farmstead, Great Hale Fen. Redeveloped 19th century historic farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the third side of the yard. The farmhouse was detached from the main working complex. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {3}
