Full Description

Laurel Farm was included in a survey of South Lincolnshire farms, as part of a wider study of English Farmsteads. It is thought to have developed from the late 18th century or early 19th century, in an evolutionary fashion. {1}{2} The Laurels, Pickworth. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of L plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {3}
