Full Description

Highfield Farm was included in a survey of South Lincolnshire farms, as part of a wider study of English Farmsteads. It is thought to have developed from the 19th century, in an evolutionary fashion. {1}{2} Highfield Farm, Bolingbroke. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {3}
