Full Description

High Barn Farm was included in a survey of South Lincolnshire farms, as part of a wider study of English Farmsteads. It is thought to have developed from the 19th century, in an evolutionary fashion. High Barn Farm, West Keal. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {3}
