Full Description

Northfield Farm was included in a survey of South Lincolnshire farms, as part of a wider study of English Farmsteads. It is thought to have developed from the 19th century, in an evolutionary fashion. {1}{2} Northfield Farm, Mavis Enderby. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with two sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {3}
