Full Description

Rimac House, Saltfleetby. Redeveloped 19th century farmstead. Row. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. Isolated location. Demolished in the mid 20th century. {1} Several army platoon units are known to have been based at Rimac House during the Second World War, with a Forward Section Post being established here to protect the exit from the adjacent beach. {2}{3} The majority of the former farm buildings were demolished in the mid 20th century, probably at some point in the late 1950s or early 1960s. {4}
