Full Description
A concentration of Roman pottery and tile sherds was identified in this location during a programme of field walking, conducted in 2003/4 by the Grantham Archaeology Group. Subsequent geophysical survey conducted by the group, identified what was thought to be a number of former post-hole features, possibly indicating the remains of a former Roman timber-built structure. {1}
