Genuki.org.uk dates the school to 1856 and states that attendance in 1871 was about 30, though it is not listed in White's 1856 Trade Directory of Lincolnshire. White's 1872 Directory states that it was a Parochial School for both sexes, and was attended at the time by 30 children. {1}{2}{3} The school is present on the Ordnance Survey maps of the area for both 1887 and 1907 {4}{5} The school was demolished at some point between 1950 and 1970, as it is present on the 1950 map but not the 1970 map.
