Full Description
Part of the western range of outbuildings at Manor Farm was included in a programme of historic building recording, conducted in July 2015 to inform their proposed conversion to housing. The surveyed buildings likely date to the mid 19th century, although they have been altered numerous times over the course of their existence, and few internal features and fittings survive. The buildings are all constructed of yellow brick, laid in an English Garden Wall bond, and feature pitched roofs of red clay pantiles. The surveyed buildings comprise a two storey former cart shed, with granary to the second floor, at the northern end of the range, and a single storey former open-fronted shelter shed in the middle of the range. Although not included in the survey, the southern part of the range is described as being a single storey former stable, attached to a two storey former coach house. Both of these structures have previously been converted to be used as housing. {1}{2}
