Full Description

Two residual sherds of medieval pottery were recovered in this area in September 2014, during archaeological monitoring on land at Waddingham Grange Farm. The assemblage comprised a sherd from a 13th to 14th century Lincoln Glazed ware jug or jar, and a piece from a drinking vessel of Cistercian-type ware, thought to date to the late 15th to 16th century. {1}{2}
