Full Description

Three residual worked flints were recovered in this area in September 2014, during archaeological monitoring on land at Waddingham Grange Farm. The assemblage comprised a blade flake of probable Mesolithic or early Neolithic date, a core fragment of probable late Neolithic date, and a piercing tool, also of probable late Neolithic date. The core fragment showed blade removal scars, whilst the piercing tool had edge-working that suggested it had been made from an earlier flake. {1}{2}
