Full Description

Type 23 anti-aircraft pillbox at Curlew Lodge. Built of concrete with wooden shuttering. Formed of two square chambers joined by a central raised platform for an anti-aircraft gun. Each end has 3 embrasures with a shelf below each opening. The narrow entrance is set centrally in the western wall. {1}{2}
