Full Description

Brick and concrete footings for a former bridge were recorded in this location in October 2012, during groundworks for the renewal of the coastal flood defences between Tetney and Saltfleet. The structure was likely associated with the Second World Ware defences at North Coates airfield, providing access over a small dyke to the nearby pillbox and blockhouse (see PRNs 49070 and 49306). {1}{2}
