Full Description

A small complex of probably post-medieval farm buildings is depicted in this location on the 1793 Tealby Enclosure Award map. The map shows a larger, L-shaped structure, linked to two smaller buildings by lengths of walling, creating two small courtyard areas within. The complex is not depicted on the later 1st edition 6" Ordnance Survey County Series map, suggesting it was demolished at some time in the 19th century. Raised building platform earthworks have been noted in this location, indicating some remains of the farmstead may survive in situ. {1}{2}{3}
