Full Description
The remains of a large ditch was recorded in this location in October 2012, during archaeological monitoring of drain renewal works. The ditch was sealed by a thick layer of alluvium, which may be sealing other features in this area. No finds were recovered from the fill of the ditch, which remains undated. It was thought possible that the ditch may be associated with the remains of a suspected medieval moated enclosure, located a short distance to the north-east (see PRN 54050). {1}{2}
