Full Description

Large two-storey barn at Godsons Farm, built in red brick with a slate roof and wooden windows and doors. Several small lean-to's of corrugated metal are attached to the northern gable. The building is probably of mid 19th century date, and is depicted on the 1st edition 6 inch Ordnance Survey County Series map, where it is shown as part of a much larger, though now no longer extant complex of farm buildings, typical of the Victorian 'High Farming' movement. {1}{2} Willow Grove Farm, Blankney. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {3}
