Full Description
The former stable block at The Old Rectory, Main Road, Thimbleby, was the subject of a programme of historic building recording, conducted in November 2012, prior to proposed alterations and conversion. The building is single-storey, and is constructed of red brick laid in a variety of bonds and features a gabled slate roof. The structure is divided into three internal rooms, which, from west to east, were used as a tack room, stable and cart store. The building was designed in a late Georgian style and dates from the second half of the 19th century. {1}{2}
