Full Description
A 'brick and tile works' is labelled in this location on the 1st edition 6" Ordnance Survey County Series map. It is depicted with a windpump and several clay pits. {1}
The works are still in use as depicted on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map, but appear to go out of use at some point in the first half of the 20th century, according to later historic mapping of this area. {2}{3}
