Full Description

The Nissen hut at Pocklington's Mill was included in a programme of historic building recording, conducted in February 2014 to inform proposed renovation and renewal works at the site. The hut conforms to the standard Nissen hut construction method, being made of a half round steel frame with corrugated iron sheets for walls. The structure is set upon low brick walls and has full height brick walls to both ends. The structure appears to have been moved to this site in c.1950 and is now in use as a vehicle workshop and storage area. {1}{2}
