Full Description
Traces of medieval ridge and furrow were identified in this location in February 2012, during trial trenching on land at Bourne Road, Morton. The remains were identified as upstanding linear earthworks, aligned on a roughly north to south axis. Two redeposited fragments of mid 12th to 14th century Bourne ware pottery were also recovered from subsoil deposits. {1}{2}
