Full Description
Traces of medieval ridge and furrow were identified in this area in July 2014, during trial trenching on land at Ryland Road, Dunholme. The remains were identified as a series of parallel linear cut features, aligned on a roughly north to south axis and spaced approximately 7m apart. A single piece of medieval roof tile was recovered from the fill of one of the furrows. {1}{2}
