Full Description
A large quantity of medieval pottery was found in this location in October 2011, during systematic field walking conducted to inform the construction of a new water pipeline. The assemblage comprised sherds from a wide variety of forms and fabrics, including fragments of Toynton ware and possibly late medieval Toynton ware. {1}{2}
