Full Description
Former metal working foundry, built of modern brick and corrugated metal and featuring a tall, metal chimney (now removed). The current structure was built in 1989 to replace an earlier foundry building of c.1947. Photographic recording of the operation of the foundry was conducted on the 31st of July, 2003, when the final commercial casting was completed, and the furnace was closed. {1}
