Full Description

A number of small structures are depicted in this location on the 2nd edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey County Series map. The exact function of the structures could not be determined, though it is possible that they were associated with the nearby Hundleby Brick and Tile Works (see PRN 42123). The structures are no longer extant. {1} Strong magnetic disturbances were recorded in this location in June 2011, during magnetometry survey along selected parts of the proposed Covenham Water Treatment Works to Boston Transfer pipeline. The anomalies were consistent with the general spread of debris that would be expected after the demolition of former structures. {2}
