Full Description
Almost all of the torso of a bull sculpted in marble was found whilst digging out drains at the back of a house in Thonock Close, Lincoln. It has been identified by Professor Martin Henig as Roman of the first or second century. Probably an item of household or garden decoration from a large house in, or just outside, Roman Lincoln. {1}
