Full Description
A small unstratified assemblage of late medieval and early post-medieval pottery was found by the County Archaeologist in 1997, during work at Trusthorpe Nursing Home. The 17 sherds included pieces of Toynton Ware, and imported Frechen and Langerwehe stonewares, typical of those found elsewhere in Lincolnshire. The date ranges of the pottery types are broad and so no more precise dating can be provided. {1}{2}
