Full Description
The remains of medieval ridge and furrow were recorded here in July 2014, during a magnetometry survey conducted on land to the west of the A15, Burton by Lincoln. The ridge and furrow was identified as a large area of parallel, linear magnetic anomalies, mostly aligned on a roughly south-west to north-east axis, although one small area of roughly south-east to north-west anomalies was also recorded, reflecting a variation in the open field pattern. {1}
