Full Description
A milestone is depicted in this location on the 1st edition 6" Ordnance Survey County Series map. It is depicted as being inscribed 'BOURN 1, LONDON 98'. {1}
The stone can be discerned as still extant, on the Google Maps Street View imagery. It appears as a stone with rounded top, partly lying within the ditch on the eastern side of the road. {2}
