Full Description

Three undated features were recorded in this area in September 2014, during trial trenching on land to the south of Grantham Road, Sleaford. The features comprised a discrete probable post hole at the southern end of the group, and a roughly north to south aligned ditch and a substantial pit at the northern end. No dateable finds were recovered from any of the features, although fragments of limestone and mortar were identified in the fill of the pit, possibly suggesting that some form of structure had been built nearby. {1}{2}
