Full Description

Four linear magnetic anomalies were recorded in this area in March 2013, during a magnetometry survey, conducted on land at Grantham Road, Sleaford. The anomalies were thought to represent cut features, such as ditches or drains. The southernmost anomaly seemed to respect the contour of the land and was therefore thought likely to be a former field boundary. The other anomalies could also represent former field divisions, though their interpretation was more inconclusive. {1}{2}
