Full Description

Two weak, linear magnetic anomalies were recorded in November 2014, during a magnetometry survey, conducted in advance of the proposed construction of a water pipeline between Wilsthorpe and Greatford. The anomalies were aligned on a north-east to south-west axis, and were thought to originate from previous agricultural activity, possibly being the remains of medieval ridge and furrow. {1}
