Description

Limited keyhole excavation (trial trenching) was undertaken by volunteers on the site of a possible Roman villa at Sudbrooke. A single trench measuring 15m long by 1m wide was excavated towards the north of the site, and produced evidence for drainage gullies and a single post hole. {1}
