A site visit was undertaken to assess the impact of proposed mineral extraction on land at Saltbox Farm, Whitecross Lane, Burton Pedwardine. A scatter of post-medieval brick, tile and iron slag fragments was identified towards the south of the site. This material likely derived from the activities of the former brick and tile works, located to the immediate west, although it is possible that a single abraded fragment of tile may have been of medieval date. {1}{2}
