Description
A trench was excavated to investigate an exposed stone wall protruding from a dyke by Allen Archaeology Ltd in September 2009. 13th century domestic refuse surrounding the wall under investigation was revealed, along with evidence of re-use of the wall for later structures dating from the 13th to 16th century. {1}{2}
