Description

A programme of trial trench evaluation was carried out by Lindsey Archaeological Services in October/November 2008, on the site of a proposed residential development at the northern end of Churchill Avenue, Horncastle, Lincolnshire. The site, which lies to the east and west of Nos. 2 and 4 Churchill Avenue, included a former children's play area as well as a car park and garages. {1} {2}
