Description
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks relating to the construction of a house at The Birches. Inspection of the trenches revealed deposits interpreted as natural sand and gravel, overlain by an undated subsoil, followed by a modern deposit and the existing topsoil. A small assemblage of apparently residual medieval tile and pottery was recovered. {1}{2}
