Description

Excavations undertaken on a 5.06ha site at Glebe Land, Langtoft. The work revealed field systems, pits, wells and postholes, the remains of a ring ditch with an inhumation, a trackway and enclosed settlement. The majority of features were of Middle Bronze Age date although Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age finds were recovered. {1}{2}
