Description
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks associated with an extension to the farmhouse and associated services. No archaeological features were encountered. A small assemblage of late post medieval finds associated with disposal of domestic waste from the farmhouse were found in a clinker-rich layer which may represent the made-up ground associated with a former yard surface. {1}{2}
