Description
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks for a new extension. A stone wall foundation of probable post medieval date was the only feature encountered. A few sherds of medieval and post medieval pottery and a single sherd of Roman pottery were found in mixed soil horizons. Although close to the site of St Peter ad Fontem church (PRN 70530), no evidence for burials was found. {1}{2}
