Description

A site visit was undertaken to assess the impact of the proposed construction of a new water pipeline, running between the Glentham Pumping Station and Harpswell Reservoir. A single worked prehistoric flint and two sherds of medieval pottery were found on land to the north of Dog Kennel Road. Information was also received regarding the finding of Roman pottery sherds in the same area, and an Anglo-Saxon skillet, found on land to the west of Harpswell Reservoir. {1}{2}
