Description

Archaeological recording of a standing section of the Close Wall was carried out after a portion of the 19th century orangery wall collapsed, revealing the fabric of the earlier wall behind it. A photographic record of the wall was also produced although this was limited by the position of a new building close to the wall. {1}{2}
